Guest guest
Does anyone take depression medication? I only ask this because I am on two of them and have been for quite awhile. If I am put on HC from anyone's knowledge can this be an issue? Also, I was told by a nurse in the ER who did not seem like the sharpest tool in the shed lol ,that HC and Predinisone can cause high blood pressure? My blood pressure has never been too low. If anything normal or just a tad in the upper normal from attentin deficiet medication. I am going to start taking my temp. readings soon, but I do know that my depression medications can cause a flucation in my temps. So how I can do the temp thing like most do here? How will that help in if my medication causes me to be different all the time? I just get so overwhelmed at times because I am on meds, they will be weaned down by my doc ,but he first needs to get me on the right path with my adrenals, and then see if my hypothyroid adjusts or not. I am on Celexa and Lamictal. I also some nights need to take Ambien for sleep ,which does not keep me asleep ,or Trazadone that is non addictive, but I do not sleep that much on that either. Of course I do not take them the same night. One at a time. I do know that medications have caused my body along with epstein barr and severe post traumatic stress to be non functioning , meaning I can harldy exercise. I am lucky to take a walk around the block. This is due to such fatigue. Three years ago I could go on the treadmill for a bit. Years ago I could go for 45 min. or more My Intergrative doctor told me in no way to do major exericse even if I feel like I can one day because this will burn my adrenals out even more and he says he a hashunch they are in the lowest stage. As we all know for ones heart, for depression, for a healthy body, one needs to exeercise. I am scared because at 36 I am not heavy ,but I am not moving like I need to be.I also can lose ten pounds. I am tall so I can hide it and when I mention to a friend I need to lose ten pounds the say where. Well, clothes hide things as well (= I try to eat healthy. I feel also it is better to be a little heavy and healthy than thin and sick. When I do get out I do walk at a good pace. Whether it be the market, the store to buy clothes, etc... I try and stretch. I need to be more consistent with that. Lastly, I have a lab slip but it does not have Renin on it. I have checked somethings that the doc did not and no I am not a person who usually does this kind of thing but he is not being charged my insurance is and I need as much knowledge about my health so I can get off of SDSI and make a life for myself. If anyone can please let me know what else the Renin test would be inder when takimg a blood test? Thanks so much for reading this and any input would be awesome .
