Guest guest
Hey everyone, Hope this finds everyone doing well. I had a situation at work on Friday that I would like some input on. I work for a family owned R.V. dealership. I'm the parts manager as well as service writer and warranty writer - head gopher too! Anyway, it was in the mid 90's and I was putting away freight and running around like crazy when you guessed it Wonder Woman turned into Alligator Woman! I know I should have stopped when I first felt it coming on but I really had to finish what I was doing. Nobody at work has ever seen me break out - eyes swell etc. They really freaked! I tried explaining it was o.k. but they thought I should go to the emergency room. I was able to calm them down but now I get the feeling that they think I can't do my job. Being the only female that works there I feel it's especially important I pull my own weight. I tried to reassure them but I don't think they are listening. Speaking of listening, does anybody else feel like they have earplugs in when they break out? It's almost like my ear canals are swollen shut (which is kinda nice when the boss is yelling at you!) I know I don't write often but my thoughts are with all of you always. Thanks for all of the help & support! Tambra
