Guest guest
I just got back from my GP, he says it's all stress, I don't buy it, he said my thyroid was like 1.178 and anywhere between .3 and 5.0 is normal, however, that was at least 2 months ago and my symtoms are worse, here they are: Heart Palps (PVC's bad sometimes) Chest pain (I've done all the heart tests) Confusions Mucle aches Terrible sleep Eyes feel blurry or half open, being squeezed? I'm eating a ton of food, no weight gain at all I get cold, so cold I have to take a hot shower Sometimes, I'll get a warm sensation, and feel it move through my entire body, then my hands will be sweaty I've had a few things, like spells, panic attacks but not quite, been to the ER several times there's more, but that's is the jist of it. I've found that magnesium and pottasium both have helped me. My doctor has me on Toperol (beta blocker) 25 mg a day I just started taking iodine kelp tablets, 125 mcg twice a day, one pill is 125% of the daily allowance. I have that saliva testing kit, haven't done it yet. Even though I seem to have the hyperthyroid symtpoms I seem to have quite a few of the hypothyroid symptoms, like low temps and such, but my heart palps and confusion, fatigue and all that seems to be hyper, so I'm scared to take too my iodine. What about that thyoid being 1.1 does that mean anything? I need help, my life is falling apart.

Guest guest
You really should go ahead and do the saliva test - in addition to your cortisol levels it will also give you your Free T3 and Free T4 - TSH is meaningless, really. - Janet (ChEMom) > I just got back from my GP, he says it's all stress, I don't buy it, > he said my thyroid was like 1.178 and anywhere between .3 and 5.0 is > normal, however, that was at least 2 months ago and my symtoms are > worse, here they are: > > Heart Palps (PVC's bad sometimes) > Chest pain (I've done all the heart tests) > Confusions > Mucle aches > Terrible sleep > Eyes feel blurry or half open, being squeezed? > I'm eating a ton of food, no weight gain at all > I get cold, so cold I have to take a hot shower > Sometimes, I'll get a warm sensation, and feel it move through my > entire body, then my hands will be sweaty > I've had a few things, like spells, panic attacks but not quite, been > to the ER several times > > there's more, but that's is the jist of it. > > I've found that magnesium and pottasium both have helped me. Guest guest
You sound like you have adrenal fatigue. Why hold off on the saliva tests? They hyper symptoms are what adrenals out of balance can give you. Check out Dr. Rind's graph on thyroid versus adrenal and send in your saliva kit. www.drrind.com Cheri My Thyroid Test I just got back from my GP, he says it's all stress, I don't buy it, he said my thyroid was like 1.178 and anywhere between .3 and 5.0 is normal, however, that was at least 2 months ago and my symtoms are worse, here they are: Heart Palps (PVC's bad sometimes) Chest pain (I've done all the heart tests) Confusions Mucle aches Terrible sleep Eyes feel blurry or half open, being squeezed?
