I respect Perque as a really good brand so I don't think it is anything impure in the lozenge that would bother you, but maybe there's a filler or other ingredient that you're allergic to? Perhaps you can switch to the methylcobalmin form of b12 and that might help? Hmmm.... Dahlia
Guest guest
Hi Dahlia Thanks for your answer. Nil I've never heard of detoxing from taking b12. How would that work, do you have any ideas? I have no idea. That is what I am trying to find out. If I can find that out that will give me another clue on not-working parts of my body. I respect Perque as a really good brand so I don't think it is anything impure in the lozenge that would bother you, but maybe there's a filler or other ingredient that you're allergic to? I also tried injectable hydroxycobalamin. It gave me the same reaction. It decreases my brain problems so I know it is helping some way. But what ever it is detoxing I am not being able to handle. i wish to note again for the ones who might be interested that i found perque to be as effective as injectable form. Same amount of both give me same detox rections. Perhaps you can switch to the methylcobalmin form of b12 and that might help? Good idea!..Thanks, but I had already done that. Last year I used MC and did not have this problem. HC is converted to MC in the body so my problem must be somewhere before MC production occurs. This also shows that I am not cobalt allergic. If I was,MC would also bother me. Also I don't think MC is good for anemia which I have. Normally HC is converted to MC and adenosyl cobalamin in the body. MC being used mainly for neurological problems and adenosyl for hemoglobin formation. As far as I know. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks and best wishes. Hmmm.... Dahlia

Please let me know what you find about the detox reaction to HC. Is your physician aware of this? What could counter the effects, I wonder? Be careful--not too much detoxing at once! Guest guest
Hi erica To my knowledge MC is mainly used for repairing nerve problems. But some sources says it is also converted to adenosyl form which is needed for anemia.cyano and hydoxy forms are used for anemia for many years but is lately said that cyano form might not be good for mercury poisoned persons as it might form cyanide complex with mercury and move it into the brain. So there is a lot of discussion on this. I preferred to stay on the safe side and preferred to use HC as it was used for anemia treatment for many years.I did not choose cyano form as I am severely mercury toxic. So,I really can not advise you what to take as I am not an expert and do not wish to mislead you. You may wish to make some more search on this subject for yourself. wish you the best. Nil Re: Re: Test results a, Nil Hi Yil, I am low in iron so I do not know which form of B-12 to take? I have to be careful and try and add one thing at a time if possible because I am on depression medication and some things and counter act with my meds. Thanks for tyhe Molasses tip. I am having my blood test tomm. morning so I will be having my ferrintin and Iron and total iron re-tested. As soon as I get those back which will be about a day because they are marked stat, I will then purchase iron according to what my levels look like. a (= yildiz wrote: Hi a Do they advise taking folic acid while taking MC or is it not needed with MC?I am also taking some folic acid with H cob.
