Guest guest
Dear , Thank you for your response. How long would you recommend going off the glandular before retesting? I hear conflicting opinions about which is more accurate, testing thyroid through saliva or blood. Do you have information as to why testing thyroid through saliva is more accurate for people with AF? Is it possible for thyroid levels to be thrown off if one is suffering from AF? Thank you in advance. In cases of low cortisol thyroid cann;t enter the cells withotu enough cortisol so blood levels can be quite high looking really greta while the tissue levels show the true picture of hypothyorid as that is where thyroid does it's work. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thank you. That makes sense. 1. Given that I know my cortisol levels have been are low, does it even make sense to test thyroid and sex hormone levels (saliva)- as they are likely low due to low cortisol anyway? Would it not make sense to address the low cortisol first?? 2. Seems tricky, how to tell whether to address only adrenals or adrenals and thyroid (if levels are low). Makes sense? wrote: >>Thank you for your response. How long would you recommend going off the glandular before retesting? SO it ihelps clarify where you arein adrenal; fatigeu to know the sex hormone levels as well. >>2. If cortisl is VERY low, needing HC it has to be treated first at least somewhat as you canntpo utilize thyroid hormones withotu enough cortiosl. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
