= Ingredient that will help you save for college

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Kellogg's Crispix® Cereal (1%)

• 2 cups Snyder's of Hanover Pretzel Snaps or Mini Pretzels (3%)

• 1 cup Fisher® Dry Roasted Peanuts (3%)

• 1 2/3 cups (11-oz. pkg.) NESTLE® Toll House® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels

(1%)

• 1 cup caramels, unwrapped, coarsely chopped

Directions:

Coat 13 x 9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine cereal,

pretzels, peanuts and caramels in large bowl. Place morsels in medium,

microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1

minute; then stir. The morsels may retain some of their original shape. If

necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-second intervals, stirring just

until morsels are melted. Pour over cereal mixture; stir to coat evenly.

Spread mixture into prepared baking pan; let stand for 20 to 30 minutes or

until firm. Break into small pieces.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals® Unsalted Cashews (3%), toasted

• 1/2 cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals® Whole Natural Almonds (3%), toasted

• 4 tbsp. Domino® Sugar (3%)

• 1/4 cup Filippo Berio® Olive Oil (1%)

• Several large leaves of lettuce

• 1 cup celery

• 2 cups apples, cubed

• 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar

• 1/4 tsp. dry mustard

• 1/4 tsp. pepper

• A few drops of hot pepper sauce (optional)

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine apples, nuts and celery. In small bowl or blender,

combine vinegar, sugar, mustard, pepper and hot pepper sauce; then slowly

blend in olive oil. Drizzle over apple mixture and blend well. Refrigerate

up to 2 hours before serving. Serve on a bed of lettuce. Makes about 4

servings.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Sweet Cream Butter (3%), softened

• 3/4 cup Domino® Sugar (3%)

• 2 EGGLAND'S BEST® Eggs (1%)

• 1 tsp. Diamond Crystal® Salt (3%)

• 1 1/4 cup Lucky Leaf ® or Musselman's® Apple Butter (3%)

• 1/2 cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals® Chopped Walnuts (3%)

• 2 cups All Purpose Flour

• 2 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder

• 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda

• 3/4 tsp. Allspice

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Beat butter and sugar

until creamy; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Set

aside. Sift and mix flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and allspice.

Add to creamed mixture, alternately with apple butter, and stir in nuts.

Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 60-70 minutes or until wooden toothpick

inserted in center comes out clean. Remove bread from pan; cool thoroughly

before slicing. Makes about 10 servings.

Variations: Add 1/2 cup chopped raisins, toasted coconut or dates. Top with

mixture of apple butter and cream cheese.
