Guest guest
We still have only a light covering of snow. I know West Yorkshire has a lot, and Hull has more than us. The boys are out at the front of the house building a snow midget! Trisha SAHM to 3 boys
Guest guest
Unfortunately if he did, he would have ordered it!! He is a bit of a snow chaser - my DH. Good news is that it will be below freezing until Monday am, then the temp is rising to a respectable 7 or 8, followed by a rapid thaw - only a few more days of winter wonderland to go then.... We ordered good weather for our wedding in October, and got drizzle until we went into the Reg Office, and then blazing sunshine when we left 10 minutes later - would have had lovely Autumnal photos on the Stray but unfortunately my mum wasn't up to it at the time and we had them all taken indoors. Oh and I was in a borrowed wedding dress with a puddle train which would have looked lovely with black mud on it. Sue BTW we have about 2 inches here too. juliecurran wrote: > now the crunch Q, does he have any influence over it ?!:-) > C

Guest guest
Well, we are suppose to go down to 33 tonight and 29 tomorrow night with snow showers on Thursday morning. If you know we aren't suppose to have any snow this year, you had better remind the powers to be rather quickly. Our normal high for today should have been 70 and it got up to about 55. llkc1234@... wrote: Laurie, This is great news! I'm so happy to read it. I know you've been waiting for this for quite some time and deserve it. I wish I knew the independance of being able to drive off into the sunset. Unfortunately, I don't have that freedom any longer. I'm glad you do. I'll be waiting to hear more from you as this story unravels. By the way, I heard that there would be no snow in Michigan this year. Guest guest
, We are in the same boat as you. Our high today (in Iowa) was around 50 degrees and it is supposed to go down to about 26 degrees tonight. I haven't heard of snow, but wouldn't be surprised! I heard the temps should go up slightly this weekend. I hope the same for you as well! Guest guest
You guys all need to move down to Florida. It's beautiful down here right now-- 80s during the day and 70s at night. No snow for me.
Guest guest
, I don't miss it at all! I hated winter in Buffalo. The snow wasn't even very pretty because it turned gray and yucky so quickly. I hated being cold all the time and could never warm up. I must admit I do miss the fall and the changing of the leaves though. But for me, no more ice, snow, shoveling, ice scrapers, frozen door locks, space heaters, coughing, flu.... Anyone want to join me in Florida? LOL Seriously, I hope the weather is good to all of you Northerners this year. You are all always welcome to visit if it gets too bad. I'm not far from Disney. Guest guest
You had plenty when you were still in Buffalo. Don't you miss it at all? Guest guest
-- That sounds so good. We had someone set to buy my husbands vending business and I was ready to move. Then he backed out and now it is another winter here. It only got to 29 degrees last night here in northeastern Wisconsin. But, we lucked out and did not get any rain or sleet although it looked like it would anytime. I guess it all went east over to the folks over in lower Michigan.
