Guest guest
aww Laurie. I'm so cold natured so I can't even imagine how miserable you must be. It's just in the low 60's here and I'm freezing in my polar fleece. Hope you get some heat sooner than later. Hang in there-
Guest guest
Hi gang We got our promised cold. So far we have only had sleet here and no snow, but it is going down in the high 20s tonight. This cold and we have no heat at school. They are going to put in new boilers, but they haven't even arrived yet. They are saying that it might be after Thanksgiving before we have heat. I really don't know how a school district can do this to staff and students. My choice will be to bring students to the high school where I have a heater in my office, but which means going back and forth with each student in the cold and loosing 15 minutes of our 30 time together or working in a freezing hallway with doors being opened and closed and sometimes propped open for the workmen. I'm going to be very sick of the mess by next June. Thanks for letting me vent. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Wed, 01 Oct 2003 15:01:04 -0700 > To: > Subject: Re: Snow > > You had plenty when you were still in Buffalo. Guest guest
Laurie, Be careful in the sleet (you too !) I hope they get the heat situation figured out at school before the time they think. That isn't good for anyone. Our heat has been on at school this week. We went from the fans blowing and sweat dripping, right to the heat! Take it easy! Smiles, a Hi gangWe got our promised cold. Guest guest
Hi We are getting the most beautiful snow. The snow flakes (or clumps) are 1.5 to 2.5 inches in diameter. They are just floating straight down. I don't think I have ever seen such huge flakes. laurie
Guest guest
Hi Laurie, that is a switch! No snow here at all not even on the ground. It all melted away. Your snow flakes sound wonderful! Cheers, Ruth snow-NMRHiWe are getting the most beautiful snow. The snow flakes (or clumps) are 1.5to 2.5 inches in diameter. They are just floating straight down. Guest guest
Nothing hear either Ruth. Ours never even turned into snow. I was hoping we would get the 6 - 8 inches they WERE predicting for today. Hugs, Ruth Ilean Fox wrote: Hi Laurie, that is a switch! No snow here at all not even on the ground. It all melted away.
