Guest guest
You are still quite hypo and you have low cortiosl. Your HRT is WAY overboard. The estrogen especially needs to be stopped! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I agree, your progesterone is too high as well as the estrogen! Speakign from experience, prolonged high progesterone can lead to overproduction and blocking your body accepting cortisol. The elevated testosterone may be due to elevated progesterone. Your body is like a sponge when you add in HRT. The sponge can only accept so much then it is at saturation. Your body starts to make other hormones with the excess. If you can avoid takign the HRT for 2-4 weeks or so, then refrain from this. If you cannot get off it completely, reduce the dose markedly. Free T3 and T4 should be higher. That may adjust itself as you lower the HRT. Try this and re-test in a month to see the effects on your levels. > > Cortisol > > 8AM 19 (13-24) > 12:00 5 (5-10) > 5PM 5 (3-8) > Midnight 4 (1-4) > > DHEA 5 (3-10) on 12.5 mg 4X's per week > > Cortisol- DHEA-Correlation 5. > > Thyroid, on Cynomal only for 6 months > > TSH 42 normal Normal 26-85 > FT4 .34 " " .17-.42 > FT3 .54 " .28-1.10 > > I had not had a dose of T3 since the previous day because of high BP & > high adrenalin > > TPO Negative > > E2 Estridiol >99 HRT target range 5-13 > > P1 Progesterone >1000 HRT target range 100-300 > > TTF Free > Testosterone 31 elevated normal 8-20 > > What could this possibly mean? > > Gale >

Guest guest
What should I do asbout the low cortisol with these tests? I am really afraid to take cortisone because my BP has been so elevated for the past month or two. Gale > > You are still quite hypo and you have low cortiosl. Your HRT is WAY > overboard. Guest guest
I use oestrogel daily, 1/4tsp twice per day. I only use progesterone every 6 weeks for 12 days. I will try to stop the estrogen for a couple of weeks. Thanks Gale > > I agree, your progesterone is too high as well as the estrogen! > Speakign from experience, prolonged high progesterone can lead to > overproduction and blocking your body accepting cortisol. > > The elevated testosterone may be due to elevated progesterone.
