Guest guest
Hi friends: Just wanted to wish each and everyone a Happy Easter and wish you all the best! Still no sign of any Robin's here in Thunder Bay but am sure the cold weather won't stop the Easter Bunny as he has his fur coat on. :-) Sara & Fern: Welcome to the group and am sure you will find all the support and information you will need as you walk the PLS path. Hopefully it will be a slow journey. Fern, I am also looking for an assisted living facility (presently in a bi-level house alone) so I can sympathize with your situation but don't do anything hasty. Things will fall into place but in the meantime you have to do some research into what facilities would most meet your needs. A nursing home would be a last resort for me at this time. I am a fighter and will not give in to this illness easily. Liz: Thank you for keeping us abreast of your Dad's health situation. Tell him he has a lot of people 'rooting' for him and am sure he already knows how lucky he is to have such a wonderful and caring daughter like you. Bart: I am so sorry to hear of your 'spinal tap ordeal'. Mine, fortunately was very easy and I had no side effects whatsoever. Hope you never have to experience anything like that again. Renea: Hope they get your problems ironed out with your baclofen pump. Am sorry you are having to deal with these difficulties at such a young age. My thoughts are with you. The Whooping Cranes are coming also. They left Florida early this month. See www.operationmigration.org/Field_Journal.html . They were raised in Canada and taught to migrate by small hang glider planes flying ahead of them. Anyways enjoy and send them back in the fall. Happy Easter, Byron and in FL
Guest guest
JoJo, Happy Easter to you as well. We are planning a family dinner at my mother-in-laws. I usually host all the holiday family dinners - but really needed a break this Holiday. We have been fixing up this old house- packing stuff up and hopefully will have a new ranch home soon. I was one that never stopped. I was like the energize bunny until this disease hit. It's funny how you can get tired so fast. I wish you a blessed Holiday.
