I think the most commonly known and used brand is made by Bayer and can be found in the pharmacy sections of most large discount and drug stores. A good price at a Wal-mart, for instance is about $12 for 100 testing strips. The name of the Bayer strips is Bayer Ketostix. Not the Keto-Diastix. Those measure both sugar and ketones in the urine. The only thing we need to measure is ketones in the urine, so the Ketostix are adequate for that. Sometimes you have to ask the pharmacist for them . . . they often keep them behind the counter, for some reason. Terry168/159/156 (minigoal)/ ? Some people get addicted to them ;-) When you are first starting out and trying to get into ketosis, they can be helpful.
