Also...Anyone been put in remission from taking prednisone? My Dr. said it's possible but I'm trying to avoid more weight gain.

Remission? Prednisone is the only thing that made my hives go away. I also take Allegra ... Singular ... Tagamet ... Proventil. The weight gain is not fun. Tapering off of Prednisone is not easy. I am still trying after 8 months.

Is this what you mean by "remission?"
