zyrtec works well but im in zyrtec constant sleep

Hi

Dont give up. Your body will get use to it and you wont feel so

sleepy all the time. I think I have built up a tollerance to it. I can

take zyrtec and benedryl and I can still function. I know its hard but you need the meds.

Im sorry to complain.. but what do you guys do to combat the constant

tiredness from the meds? Even when I take ephedrine (fromthe doc) or

drink major

caffiene I still fall asleep

My college classes resume in a week and ill be teaching again in about a

month and I sleep like 16 hours a day....I dont seem to be adjusting I

take max 20 mg of zyrtec a day.

I try to get enough sleep at night. I rarely stay up late. I do often take a nap in the afternoon, but that is not convenient to do when you work. I think eating certain foods will make the afternoon "tiredness" less. ...anyone...? I think fruit in the am and protein with carbs at noon and no sugar might help. The sugar wakes you up but then inevitably makes you "crash." I know the proper diet can help. I am not quite sure of the best combination for you. I think little snacks of peanuts (protein) help also.

Any other diet ideas gang? ...lol...
