Guest guest
One more test you really should have done is a Reverse T3 as I bet you ar3e way high wiht the T4 meds. I would lower them and raise the Cytomel as your T3 is still low and T4 is WAY too high whihc will create an RT3 problem. I would suggest you try ot get regular cortiosl as I believe it works better as you can adjust the dosages better. DO get the cortiosl higher before raising the T3 though as your body will not be able to utilize it with the low cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
The compounded cortisol comes in 2.5mg and 5 mg caps. The doc has them compounded for more accuracy. My 3.3 level of T3 is midline so I don't understand why it is still too low. And why would my TSH be nonexistant? Would it be helpful to go down 25ugm Levoxyl and up 5umg Cytomel after I'm higher on cortisol? And is severe lower back pain a symptom of adrenal fatigue? > > One more test you really should have done is a Reverse T3 as I bet you > ar3e way high wiht the T4 meds. And is severe lower back pain a symptom of adrenal fatigue?<< The lab ranges are skewed towards hypo as SO many people are now hypothyroid that the avreage comes out MUCH lower than it used to be which is where we need it for good health. The OLD top of range for T3 was 6.2! And most of us need ot be almost to that top range to feel well. Your TSH is supressed by the high T4 which your body is not utilizing properly. It seems unable ot convert to T3 whihc is how it is used and that means it is probably going to all RT3 whihc is inactive, and actually blocks T3 form working properly too. It would help to go down on Levoxyl, but you will not clear out excess T3 withotu stoppig all T4 in your system for a few months. Yes lower back pain can be from weak adrenals struggling ot comply with demands. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
>>Are the " heart palpatations " really palpatations or anxiety??<< Heart palpitations can be caused by so many things and are differnt for differnt people. Soime they are accompanied with higher pulse, some not, some it is just a loud pounding particularly when you try to sleep at night. They usually are caused by hypothyroid or high cortiosl or coffee, or other sources of caffeine can make them worse. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
I was going to post for feedback regarding heart palps. I have not posted in a while. I have been on Isocort since June. I added cytomel from Val's advice and just started back on my T4 while still continuing T3. Since February when everything crashed I have not been able to get relief from my heart palps. I have Hashimotos. I am slowly gaining my endurance and stamina back but still have bouts of depression and a few dips feeling like I have had the flu. We all know how that symptoms feels. Mono started my severe thyroiditis and so my ND tested me for Epstein Barr and I have that. Has anyone tested positive for Epstein Barr and how does that effect our Adrenals and Thyroid? How long does it normally take to get rid of Heart Palps? My ND changed my Isocort dosage to 10 pellets a day from 8. Anythoughts or feeback? > > COFFEE!!! Guest guest
The things that stopped my palps after YEARS of having them was lowering cortiosl a bit, raising thyroid ALOT and magnesium. but other s may need more cortiosl rather than less. High or low cortios causes palps. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I tested very high level of EBV, but my doc says he there is not way ot tell accuratelyy if it is re-activated or not. I am still the midst of testing. I do not have swollen glands now, but four years ago when I went to two doctors they both told me I was ok. Back then I did not even think to get tested for EBV ,and that is usually a test they will order if everything else seems ok. Last year when I moved, I finally got my new doctor to listen to me ,and he tested for it. a sol wrote: Hi, I'm 61, hypoT, stage 7 adrenal fatigue, probably hypoaldosterone, and have Hashi's. I haven't ever been tested for EBV since I know I have it. Had extremely severe mono at 17. I keep seeing EBV crop up in reference to thyroid and adrenal problems. In Dr. Rind's chart of " Signs and Symptoms: Adrenal Fatigue vs. Low Thyroid Function " " History of EBV or Mononucleosis " rates +++ in the adrenal fatigue column. I believe I have read that people with Hashi's often have a history of EBV, but I could be misremembering that. What I do know is that the throat/jaw lymph glands have never swollen at all, ever, since then. I honestly think they were completely destroyed. At 17 I didn't know anything about anything, but I have wondered if that didn't start off all the problems I have had all of my adult life. sol heidilwood wrote: > Since February when everything crashed I have not been able > to get relief from my heart palps. Guest guest
Sol, Thanks for you response. You are right, it does state that on his site. I want to stop this madness before it goes on to long. I am sad it took 6 months after the mono to get help with my adrenals and thyroid. Very frustrating. I am much better but still struggle with dips, depression as to why this is occuring. So many people with Adrenal issues get better just like Val, so I must keep hope! > > Hi, > I'm 61, hypoT, stage 7 adrenal fatigue, probably hypoaldosterone, and > have Hashi's.
