Guest guest
Hi Val, I've been looking and haven't been able to find any info relating to aldosterone and renin levels here. Do you know if there are any files on those here? I've read some on www.stopthethyroidmadness.com website, but wanted to learn more. You mentioned I should get an ACTH Stim test (based on my low levels of these two hormones). I've been wondering if it's worth it to try to get a full pituitary evaluation by a pituitary specialist or can I get enough info just running a few of the tests through my current doctor? I dread trying to find someone new, but I want answers to my pituitary caused issues. Do many people have pituitary tumors or is it just basic hypofunction? How much testing do I need? Sorry for all of the questions, but I think this could really be a big part of my problem. I was diagnosed with CFIDS in April, but I've been reading that many endocrine problems can actually be the cause or the real reason for your symptoms. It may be that I have pituitary issues not CFIDS?? I'd love your help! Thanks! ~a
