I would take some tonight at bedtime or you will not sleep. Try 2.5mg

Why are you taking 20 mgs. in the morning? Are you stress dosing? If not,

that's too much for a first a.m. dose as it shuts down ACTH production (I'm

pretty sure). Most people here on about 25 mgs. take 10, 7.5, 5, 2.5.

took 15mg instead of 5mg

I had 15mg of Cortef in a dixie cup next to my bed and not paying

attention, I took it as my 4pm dose instead of just the 5mg. I took

20mg at 8am, 15mg at 12pm and now the 15mg at 4pm. That brings my total

so far to 50mg! Should I skip my bedtime dose? How should I dose

tomorrow? I was planning to taper tomorrow, arghhh!

Yes ,

I have been sick in bed for 6 days now. I had been taking 20mg a day

before I got sick. I was going to start tapering back down tomorrow.

OK form here I would take 15-15-10 - 5

then in 5 days IF YOUR FEEL OK, go to 15- -10 - 10 - 5

then 5 days 10 - 10 - 7.5 - 5

then back to normal dosing.

do part cream with each dose? I know it isn't very exact.

As hard as it is to dosee you would do better to just use cream for ALL of a

couple doses to extend your stash. Say every other one ?

I am really wiped out from this last dose. Should I be worried, and

is this what I have to look forward to for 5 days of 45mgs?

I hope you are right because it feels like my pre cortef fatigue. Not

sleepy, just physically drained. Odd that I didn't notice it before,

maybe I just felt so bad in other ways that it wasn't as obvious. I

think I may have turned the corner on this thing.
