Adam, for the most part I would never know if I still had a gallbladder or not! My surgeon said to be ready for frequent diarrhea but I already had that! Hopefully they are doing a laparoscopic removal and it is a breeze. Open surgery takes much longer for recovery. If they are doing it lap. you might have pain between your shoulders as not all the CO2 can be removed from your belly after inflating...a hot shower helps that otherwise it is a mild surgery.

Best of luck,

Debra

And stay away from anything that has carbonation in it. The first time

I had surgery that way, they didn't tell me that the bubbles put more

air into my body and so it took longer for the body to absorb the air.

It was also strange to me that if I laid on one side of my body the

pain would be there. If I turned to the other side, the pain would

move there. It was the air that caused the pain. It was very strange

since I hadn't been told about it by anyone.
