Guest guest
Hello everyone! Thanks for the great info on this site! I just got my temps stabilized on HC, so looking forward to starting Armour (wish me luck!). Meanwhile, Doc (that we have to keep educating) wants to put both my hubby (soon to start licorice) and I on an adaptogen. Do you guys find these helpful or should we just stay with the HC and Licorice? Ingredients in this one by Perque: Rhodiola Relora Perilla Oi Medium Chain Triglycerides (from Palm fruit) Phosphatidylcholine Beeswax Kosher gelatin Water Turmeric Powder Glycerine Thanks so much! -Sharon
Guest guest
I use Turmeric on a regular basis and find it VERY helpful for general inflammation. I have tried Rhodiola as part of a mixed supplement, so couldn't tell if it had any effect on its own - I discontinued in favor of using individual items so I can tell what helps. Also, Ashwangandha is an adaptogen - some people on the nat thyroid group were discussing using that today. I just started using it about a week ago, so have no results to report yet. Others reported it causing heart racing. > > Hello everyone! > Thanks for the great info on this site! Guest guest
Are you trying to lower your cortisol, Sharon? Relora lowers it so if that is your goal okay, but if not do not take the Relora. Cheri I > > Hello everyone! > Thanks for the great info on this site!
