Guest guest
Not sure about SO, but might be willing to try! Don't really like partner, or boyfriend either - so perhaps I should just get married! Other suggestions: DM - Darling Man (like this as it takes me back to days of DM's/Dr 's!) DDD - Darling daughter's daddy (but that makes people wonder about my relationship to him???) > > SO (significant other) is usualy the general abbreviation for partner, BF > can be boyfriend breastfeeding or Best friend (as in best girly friend) > usually I've seen Boyf for Boyfriend, bf (lowercase) for breastfeeding and > BF (upper case) for bestfriend! > DB is dear brother, DS is also confusing as it could be Son or Sister, but > the context is usually clearer! again I've sen DSis to avoid that. > HTH! > Angi > >
Guest guest
Didn't someone use SD as in Sperm Donor, on the assumption that we are all here because we have children? Might be a bit confusing if you have children from a previous marriage though..... Alison SO (significant other) is usualy the general abbreviation for partner, BF can be boyfriend breastfeeding or Best friend (as in best girly friend) usually I've seen Boyf for Boyfriend, bf (lowercase) for breastfeeding and BF (upper case) for bestfriend! DB is dear brother, DS is also confusing as it could be Son or Sister, but the context is usually clearer! again I've sen DSis to avoid that. HTH!
