Foot slipping in DBB

My son is 5 months and in the DBB 23/7 for two weeks already. We take

it off for an hour in the evening but one foot seems to be pulling in

a little bit. In the morning I always have to open the laces and

buckle to put it back in. When I'm putting them on I think I'm

getting his heel in completely and closing it up pretty tight so I

don't understand why it's slipping back. I also don't want it to be

affecting the purpose of the DBB if his foot is not in the right

position. Anyone have any ideas?

try dorsiflexing the foot when you put the shoe on. It might be easier if

you take it off the bar, it is for me. Bend the knee and flex the toes

toward his head and push down on the knee to make sure the heel is all the

way down. Then use your thumb over the buckle area to keep the heel down

and cinch the buckle up very tight. Tighter than you would think it need

be. Also, pull the tongue down way over his toes so that it doesn't ride

high on his ankle and pull his heel up. If you have to, you can slit the

tongue keeper slits up so you can pull the tongue down further.
