Disappointed with Dr

Hi all,

Well if you all remember I went to the Endo for the first time

on May 4th finally after months of fight to get there, well I would

have done better not going. Also if you remember I told everyone he

told me he not only treats numbers but he treats symptoms. He also

told me He thought I had all the classic symptoms for Hypo thyroid

and also Cushings Syndrome. I was just waiting on his call this

week .Well he called and all he said was everything came back normal

and he wanted to get me into the nurtionist. I lost a total of 80lbs

in a mater of 1 year, but then the next year I packed on 100lb in

the same amount of time and I told him my resting pulse is 60 and my

resting temp is usually around 97.4 . So he tested my TSH and my

Free T4 cause he said he didn't like the T4. Well got the call today

and guess what everything is normal and he has no idea why I lost

and gained weight so fast and all my numbers are on the low normal

side and just wants to pack me off to see a nutritionist but my

eating habits haven't change in years. In the mean time I have

another appointment with him in 6 months. needless to say I am so

pissed I am spitting nails i know how I feel and I am so frustarted

with it I can't think straight. I thought I had found the dream Dr

by the way he talked and things he said that he treats not just

numbers but symptoms as well. Weel my dream is a night mare. I told

him I will be up to pick up my test results and I will post the

numbers for you ladies as soon as I get them. Poor Topper we spoke

on Im this morning and I ended up having her mad with all I told her.

So we ended up venting about Doc's with their heads up their butt. I

even went and reserached this Cushing Syndrome and he is right I

have all the classic signs the purplish stretch marks and sore or

misquito bits from last year that never heal properly and all my

weight is in the middle torso and moon face head aches all the time

and the buffalo hump everyhting it is all present he even found the

buffalo hump not me and my neck is full and puffy he felt me swallow

and said it was very puffy and full. So I don't understand I am just

so mad and confused right now I have to go cool down a bit so i can

think this through better. Sorry for just venting and running but I

have to calm myself down. I need to think if anyone has any

suggestions let me know. I am going to have to go on a Dr hunt I

guess. Tina
