My doc is not the most brilliant BUT I can get > him to write me a RX for almost anything I ask for, so I have to stick > with him! > You need the doctor to order a reverse T3 and a free T3, these labs combined with a free T4 will let you know if you have a conversion issue..Thyroid resistance usually shows up with high T4 and a high TSH and hypo symptoms.. with conversion issues though the feed back system with the high T4 will lower the TSH but you need to see how much T3 your body is converting and how much T3 the body is using.. Also remember that the lab range is a wide range of normal so although you maybe in range you may not be at optimal range for you..
