Guest guest
Hello all, Many thanks to D. for directing me to a web-site which talks about ablating a site in just one pulmonary vein area as an option. I think I may have jumped to the wrong conclusion? I thought that while the EPs were inside the left atrium that they opted to ablate the sites in all pulmonary veins that were potential causes of AFIB. At least I thought that was what the very experienced EPs, like the ones at the Cleveland Clinic, did. What do they do at the Cleveland Clinic? Maybe I have been reading the posts too hastily and have not taken the information in correctly. Or is it possible that the approach on either side of the Atlantic Ocean is a bit different? Any comments to broaden my knowledge would be appreciated!
