Guest guest
Could you please include ranges with your labs? That helps cause it matters where in the range your numbers fall. Guest guest
The Adrenogen®Nutritional Support for Adrenal Function is way too weak to give you any real support, especially if you have bad adrenal fatigue. Plus bovine doesn't mimic the body like porcine. Metagenics is very expensive so you are paying a lot for that formula with very little ingredients. That formula doesn't look like one of the better ones. Dr. 's is much better but really I think you need to go to Isocort or HC. The licorice and Ashwagandha are fine. I can't tell about thyroid based on what you posted. Cheri Labs in please help I don't know if treatment plan will help me! Hi everyone. My name is Mark I am a new poster and a watcher for a while now. I went and saw my nurse practioner who is into bio- identical hormones. I just got my labs in (some i requested cause of you guys) and these are the results! Can I take ISOCORT with all of this will it be to much for the standard isocort ramp up? She wouldn't prescribe hydrocortisone and didn't know about isocort. I guess my question is 2 fold: Could I still be hypothyroid with those numbers? Is this support therapy above negligable in the big picture or refrased will it interfere with a isocort regiment? Please I would appreciate any help I know you all know what is going on. Guest guest
T3 free 3.48 1.88-3.52 T4 free .92 .58-1.38 THS 3rd gen 1.890 .520-5.080 The problem wiht your labs for thyroid is thta without cortiosl the T3 simply sits in the blood looking pretty on labs. Exactly what it is doing! But yor TSH for good health should be lower, which indicates the level of thyroid in the tissues is VERY low. When oyu add cortisol to this picture, which will then allow all that thyroid in the blod into the cells, the blood levels WILL go down considerably and then the true hypothyroid picture will show up. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
