Thank you for saying that - because after I posted it I had pang of

guilt for having said it. But I just got an email from a male friend

and that is exactly what he told me. Grrrr! The fella I'm dating is

sure that is true also - and he is sure that women go out of their way

to always make sure they at least have a man available for

" recreation " at all times because really WE are the sex hounds. Come

That's one of the nice things about being around other women is that I

realize I " m not the only one who finds this stuff laughable. While I

know all men aren't like those described - there are time when the

battery does have serious advantages over the ones I've known.

I don't want to pour cold water on anyone here but I'm

not sure the main board is the place for this stuff.

Also, although I've had my fair share of bad

relationship experiences, there are a lot of good men

out there and some of them are members of this group.

I'd hate to think that posts like these might

discourage a man from accessing the help that has

benefitted so many of us.

Guys.... my apologies to you all... we ladies have all known a guy or two that fits the stereo types that have been kidded with today.. it's not pointed at you.... HONEST !!! I'm sure that you could probably come up with some comments about ladies you've known.....

.... I got grief from guy once.... won't go into the details of the situation... but I was ticked and made a comment about the comment he'd made about battery operated devices.... He implied that I had been using one too much and no longer appreciated the 'real deal'......

..... I was kinda quiet for a minute, contemplating what I might say... then it kinda came out...

You know... maybe if you had the intelligence, dexterity and imagination of a battery, even a generic one, you'd qualify as the real deal.....

I never saw him after that..... My choice, he still tried....

I didn't have any battery operated appliances, I had no idea why he thought I did, unless it was my yawning?? I was just commenting based on common sense.....

Okay... out of respect for our guys... lets finish up this topic today.. and let it rest starting tomorrow (Thursday)... okay???
