Guest guest
I'm in a hormone group and we were discussing issues with not being able to tolerate progesterone supplementation (bioidentical) despite glaring low progesterone symptoms and testing proving low progesterone. Person in question has, in my opinion, strong signs of weak adrenals plus an ACTH showed she has an adrenal problem. Question is, if adrenals are weak, can " that " cause issues taking progesterone (or any sex hormone) supplementation in some women? Guest guest
My adrenals are extremely weak and I had a horrendous experience taking progesterone. It made me feel weak, shaky, gave me total insommnia for 2 nights, clear urine, pounding heartbeat, hypoglycemia - I was a wreck. I will never take progesterone again. Estrogel is fine. BUT I do know one thing the experts that I have red and firmly believe in say that Adrenals MUST be corrected first in multiple hormone deficiencies then thyroid then sex hormones then Growth hormones. SO I imagine there is a reason for that though aside form the thyroid/cortisol relationship and the fact that BOTH thyroid and cortios will change the sex hormones, ther emay be other reasons as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
