Guest guest
, I am sure you did a wonderful job with the interview. We can't control what they write, but can hope they do a accurate job of writing what was said. Now, take a deep breath and go take a nap. ;-) LILQT4U1984@... wrote: The interview is behind me. The lady was here for nearly 3 hrs which was really long for me. She must have written 25 pages on long legal notepads. She wanted to go from day one of my illness nearly 5 yrs ago. My mom and I tried to convince her that all that was irrelevant and the article needed to be geared more to my Dx and mito but she didn't see it that way. I honestly can't say what the article is going to be like..except long. She took so many notes on so many different issues. The photographer couldn't come today so he will have to come one day next week. The article will be in the weekend edition paper not this weekend but the next. I'm excited and yet so anxious! I'm trying to keep this a secret from local people and even my dad if I can. Thanks for your prayers today and always. Guest guest
, Wow! That sounds like quite the interview. I am sure the article will turn out great though. It really is a good thing you are doing. It does seem weird some of the things she picked to focus on, but the person interviewing me also focused on some strange topics, but didn't put it in the article. I called my neurologist the other day. I am off a medication for jumpy legs and they weren't too concerned about the migraines, as I was just having a headache the day I called, so I go in on the 23rd of March. I had an appt. with my family doctor today. This resulted in a trip to a cardiologist at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a big teaching hospital about 1/2 hour away. My cardiologist is gone from there, so I will be with a new one. I will also be starting to test my blood sugars on Friday. I get the glucose meter then. At least I am on the road to some answers! I hope you are feeling okay, even though I know you are exhausted. Rest up for your appt on Friday and let me know how things go!
