Pre-SCD, I'd sometimes have problems with fatty things like french fries, but maybe it was the potatoes and not the fat. For you fellow gallbladderless people, how much fat can you tolerate in a day? Holly, It's not uncommon to lose weight when you are shifting from rumen to human digestion. How much fat you can tolerate without a gallbladder is Yet Another of Those Variables. I had my gallbladder out the week I started SCD... I'd been ill for 2.5 months, and the idiot GP who was covered by our insurance precribed meds for my back, creams for the skin lesions and the insane itching... and never once LOOKED AT ME.
