Guest guest
Thanks. Would you mind telling me where you get the cal-mag powder?BTW, I've found out that my stomach issues seem to be related to Canasa, not the calcium capsules. But a non-irritating source of calcium would be good to have, as well. -- I rarely tolerate anything in a capsule, and either find a powder form or just empty the capsules into water or juice or a few times putting it on food. It is a good way to avoid the illegals found in liquid supplements. In the past 6 months I have had to start supplementing calcium to improve my neuromuscular issues, but have had such trouble for years finding a calcium supplement that doesn't trigger severe and debilitating side-effects, particularly in my joints and spine. After much testing, I've ended up doing well on a once-weekly mixed-in-water dose of a cal/mag powder (ordered mail-order). At least it hasn't triggered the severe side-effects, as long as I have it only once a week, and my muscles are responding slightly better after only 3 months of regular doses. You might look into getting a legal calcium in a powder form and mixing it in water. That solves the illegal issue. My cal/mag powder has little taste -- and believe me, my oversensitive stomach would notice [grin]. Kim M.
