Never used the dehydrator but my lid pops in the yogourmet maker in summer

months usually it's own way of keeping it at the right temp = I just loosely

cover so no bacteria from outside get in

The temperature stays consistent in the dehydrator, but the lid popped off for a

third time and that time I didn't notice and the yogurt is kinda dried out and

tastes a bit different. Rather than chance it, I just ordered 4 glass jars from

DigestiveWellness. They have twist on covers and I prefer glass to plastic

anyway.
