Guest guest
> Ok Val so I got my bloodwork back from the endo. Her exact words are " Increase Armour to 75mg per day, other hormones look good. " I am currently on 1 grain of Armour. So my question is, where do I go from here with adrenal support? And should I still do it before I up the thyroid. And will that small of an increase get my thyroid up enough? There were also a bunch more tests she ran on blood, etc if there is anything else you think you would like me to post let me know I'll see if she did it. I am doubting she will do the ACTH stim test at all. Also one question about Geritol with Ferrex. I just bought some and others have said they take a whole capful per day. Each dose is only 18mg so should I just take 1 capful for the 36mg, or take my other iron supplement on top of it to make my total intake as close to 200mg a day as possible. I thought 200mg/day was the dosage to raise ferritin. Sorry this is so long, I am feeling lost right about now. Thanks in advance for your help. I really appreciate it. Guest guest
I would suggest you at least start Isocort before raising the Armoru. I am not sure abotu dosing the Iron.. Missy on the NTH main list is the best for that info! NO that little raise of Armoiru will not correct your deficient state but maybe she is just goign very slowly due to your depleted cortisol state. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I don't think she thinks my cortisol is deficient at all. So isocort should be enough to supplement and raise my current cortisol levels? Thanks for your input. > > I would suggest you at least start Isocort before raising the Armoru.
