To find this one, I just put the name of the file in a search engine and saw all the sites that came up involving hoaxes. You can also go to several " hoax " sites which have listings. For example: www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html Usually the warnings that go around in emails ARE hoaxes. The virus software that you have informs you of the legit ones. Guest guest
This hoax, like the SULFNBK.EXE Warning hoax, tries to encourage you to delete a legitimate Windows file from your computer. Jdbgmgr.exe is the file to which the hoax refers, and it is the Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java. The Jdbgmgr.exe file may be installed when you install Windows. > I don't claim to have any computer smarts, but IF it a hoax why is it on my C drive? > ,Mom to > Re: IMPORTANT (hoax) > > > thanks for letting me know, how does one find out if these warnings are a hoax or not? > > > >
Guest guest
I believe it is a necessary file for your PC to run. I'm not positive though.
