Does anyone have any solutions to this problem?? I would be real grateful if anyone could advise alternative treatments, say food supplements for the same.... Thanks a lot! Guest guest Posted July 22, 2004 Report Share Posted July 22, 2004 I know this sounds simplistic but when my dad's bp was pretty low, he was told to drink lots and lots of water - same with my mom after she had a kidney removed for kidney cancer and her bp was low. In fact, I have vasel vagal syncope (I pass out in stressful or traumatic situations - it's fun) and, when I know an episode is coming on (meaning my bp has jumped and then crashed to really low), I'm supposed to drink like a gallon of water (literally). Licorice tea also is a bp elevator, and actually is delicious to drink! ~k [ ] Low BP and treatment?!
