Get copies of your lab reports and start a tracking sheet so that you are in control of the knowledge about what your body is doing. Ask for the last several lab reports as well to give you a better starting place. Insist upon copies of future lab reports. Provide them a stamped envelope if that will help them to remember to send to you.

I am afraid until I found this group everything was left to my Doctor, it wont be in future..I have never seen my reports they are sent to the Doctor from the lab...I have to go into the Doctor when he gets them back...I am due to have them done again next month...you can be sure I shall go armed with a list of questions for him ...can someone tell me if there is anything that I should not take with thyroxin??? I do have to take quite a lot of medication..but try to have natural as far as possible..;like Glucosamin for Arthritis for instance..I am off to find the site now thankyou for the link..Jeanne
