Help! Doing Saliva test tomorrow (Wednesday) morning!

Hi guys! I'm really new to this & am so thankful I found you. I've

learned more here than I have learned in 20 years of taking thyroid

meds & seeing many doctors. I went to the doctor today (he of course

isn't on my insurance - so all is out of pocket) but he agreed that my

blood pressure results from the last week and symptoms indicate adrenal

problems. He gave me 20 mg of HC to take (1/2 (10 mg)at 8am & 1/2(10

mg) at 2pm. I told him I wanted to do the Saliva test before starting

HC so I will do it tomorrow & then start the HC on Thursday morn. I

forgot to ask him if I should take my Armour tomorrow (1 grain about

7:30am & 1 grain at 12pm). We aren't testing the Thyroid as I've only

been on this increased dose (up from 1 grain daily) for 3 weeks. So my

question is: should I take my Armour tomorrow or not? The test is from

Diagnos-Techs, Inc. in Kent, WA. The tests he marked are: Estrone,

Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone, Cortisol 6am-8am, Cortisol 11am-

noon, Cortisol 4pm-5pm, Cortisol 10pm-midnight. Thank you for your

If you aren't taking any thyroid tests than I would say yes, take your

Armour.

Yes I feel ou should take htyroid as usual the day of testing wiht saliva just

mak esure you swallow it instead of sublingual. A word of caution too! When you

do start the HC you shoudl start it slowly and not in 2 doses! We have rampo up

directions in the files section that will help you get started wiht it safely

and wit the least side effects.
