Guest guest
Good afternoon, it has been a month or two since I have posted. The last time I had my pacemaker interogated they did a great job. I don't feel the afib anymore. Ocassionally after I have exercised or picked up pecans I get short of breath, and some times I feel my pulse and realise I am in afib. It sure is nice not to feel it. I go in for my 3 months check up afer the A/V node ablation next week. I also have a stress test scheduled, so we will see how I handle the exercise with all the wires attached. Have a great afternoon, I plan to. Nellie Sue
Guest guest
Hi Nellie Sue, My EP wants to do an AV ablation and put a pacemaker in so my heart rate can be controlled. I`ve been hesitant to have it done because I`m afraid if I have it done I will still feel the symptoms of the a-fib which are feeling real weak and like a bunch of horses kicking in my chest. Did you have those kind of symptoms? Glad you feel better. Take care. Susie Nellie Sue wrote: Good afternoon, it has been a month or two since I have posted. Guest guest
Susie, I also still feel some AFIB but not in my pulse, just a flutter in my chest because the pacemaker is doing its job. It is 5 weeks since implant and I can honestly say I haven't felt this good in several years!! Guest guest
Susie, what other options have you explored with your EP? Just curious.
