Check the archives. HC cream has been discussed several times. I do use

it in preference to the HC tablets, partly to avoid the stomach

irritation and partly from concerns about availability of the pill form.

So far it is working well for me--if that ever changes I will post about

it.

>>I noticed they sell hc cream at my local walmart. it says it contains

1% hc. is this too small a % to be used effectively for the adrenals?

Im hoping I can avoid having to purchase the pills online. does anyone

know? thanks...

1% HC cream contains 10MG HC per 1/4 tsp. It is oplenty strong enough to use for

replacement purposes. >>

How can we be absolutely certain that is the true dose of HC per 1/4 tsp??

I asked several pharmacists and a veterinarian, and they ALL said that you would

have to use an enormous amount of the cream to equal 10 mg of HC, and that the

amount in the tube is very, very small.

So how do we know who is giving the accurate information about this?? I know I

personally tried using 1/4 tsp of the cream several times and noticed no

benefit; in fact, I had to go right back to the pills as I started to feel

exhausted as though I was not getting any cortisone in my body from the cream.

I was worrying about the same thing with dosing of the cream except

that my experience was the opposite - two days of near amphetamine

induced energy and headaches and tight muscles by the evening to go

along with it. It immediately became better after going back to the

pills although I have GI and digestons/absorption issues to deal with

taking it that way.

Thanks to all who responded. I guess the dose must be correct! I just wonder why

I never respond to the HC cream as I do to the pills. Maybe I needed to use it

for a while longer, or maybe it takes longer to work than the pills??

Anyway, I appreciate all your feedback :)

I would trust that math too Delores, even if it is from a Clemson

Tiger - my wife teaches at Carolina (that's South Carolina for any of

the other kind around here). I'm from Ohio so I really don't

understand any of it ;)
