Guest guest
Can someone help me please? Been on Armour for a yr or so now (only 1/2 grain to 1 grain p day and felt great) Past 2 weeks have been AWFUL and past few days have been even worse. I have ALL symptoms of weak adrenals - headaches, foggy, not much energy, but really anxious, can't handle 'normal' situations, shaky, not sleeping as well as I used to, scalp hurts on parts of head, etc.... Going to dr this morning to start 24 hr saliva cortisol tests, but those don't come back for 2 weeks!! What do I do in the mean time?? I have been taking a product called 'Desiccated Adrenal' - natural bovine adrenal glandulars and that is the ONLY thing that is keeping me feeling ok right now...when I take it, the mental fog goes away, headache goes away, but I am still scared. I can't wait for 2 weeks!! Can I start with HC before then? I read somewhere that it is OTC... Any advice or suggestions...I think part of the miserable feeling is not knowing what it is/how to treat/when it will get better....had been feeling so well on Armour Thanks, Stefany

The adrenal glandular you have been taking will most likly skew the test results. I neve advise starting HC before getting your labs back as low and high cortisoll can feel very much the same. What you can do is lower the Armoru or stop it entirely till you get your results. It will lower the adrenal stress to make it tolerable intil you knwo what you are dealing wiht. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
