First of all, thanks for all the condolences. Second, I do eat. This

vicious rumor that I eat like a bird is totally unfounded, while I may not

find those " all you can eat " places all that financially attractive, I can

sit down to a normal meal and clean my plate. I just don't do it every

week. As for a two-seater kayak, I can come up with 3 or 4 single seaters

with paddles -- you can have one of your own. I'm working on developing a

kayak navy down here, with the ultimate ambition of invading some island in

Texas or something. Rita saw the van when I was still carrying around my

nine foot kayak. I now carry my 13 footer in there. I had to take out the

passenger seat. Since I don't normally have passengers, that was no big

deal. Now there is only one seat in the van, the driver's seat. But

there is a full length bed (with not 2, but 4 foam pads -- soft and comfy)

and on the other side a kayak. Anyone who needs a break from shoveling

snow off their driveway is welcome, we have that problem solved down here,

it's over 70 already. Can't give much of a recommendation to come here

long about June through November, however. Not unless you are really,

really fond of strong winds.
