Need help, I am really at my wits end!

As I have posted I saw my Intergrative doctor about a week ago and

the following day I woke up with a bad cold. I rested the several

days after and I continued to get worse. I ended up in the ER on

Friday and the doctor their put in on 50 mgs for Pred. for five

days. I was in such a brain fog I did not say to him why did you not

give me a gradual weaning down dose.

I am so lost at this point.I can not do my cortisol tests for two

weeks. I feel better cold wise a couple hours after taking the Pred.

I need some feedback please as to what I can do while I am waiting

to do my tests. I can hardly move around and my depression has been

raring its ugly head.

I am going to get into my doctor this week, tommorow ,after the

money I shelled out a week ago.

I am eating as best as possible, taking Mag. and Omega 3. I am low

in thyroid, as well ,but that is on hold because I still need a free

t4 test, but I was so fatigued from comin gdown with a cold with an

already low immune system I have not been able ot get my blood tests.

Will the Pred. effect a free t4 test?

Thanks in advance for any tips I am down to brax tacks.
