Guest guest
Thank you everyone for the good thoughts and wishes.. i am very frustrated at the moment because I live in a rural part of Az.. my son is down in the city and hour and a half from here. I left this morning to go be with him as I promised him and was turned around at the highway and sent back home due to a fatal accident. There is only one way down the mountain from my place . The road is still closed and now it is 200 pm here. I have been stuick home with him all alone there. I feel so guilty, I need to see him to know he is alright. I have called the hospital every hour and the nurse reassures me he is fine but still i need to see him for myslef... Nothing I can do though.... by the way does anyone know what a reactive C protein level is for?
Guest guest
That must be horrible. I will keep all of you in my thoughts. Please find some time to take care of yourself. Just stopping to eat, rather than going through a drive-up can give you some good nutrition and a time to let down a bit. Guest guest
, This has got to be so very difficult for you all. How about a nice long bubble bath when you get home? As you know, you can't help others if you get sick yourself and you are dealing with a lot right now anyway. PLEASE take care of yourself and know that we are all sending good thoughts your families way! Mrsmurffy@... wrote: Hello, well I have been running from hosp to hosp.. Guest guest
Wish there was something I could do to help. It must be pretty exhausting. (how did the back surgery go?) Guest guest
C Reactive protein is used to check the heart. There may be other things it evaluates as well. Hope you are able to get your son tonight. Hugs,
Guest guest
, Have the staff told your son you tried to get there but the police wouldn't let you through? That might make you both feel better if it hasn't already been done. Here is what I have found on reactive C protein levels. http://www.healthfinder.gov/news/newsstory.asp?docID=510230 Mrsmurffy@... wrote: Thank you everyone for the good thoughts and wishes.. i am very frustrated at the moment because I live in a rural part of Az.. my son is down in the city and hour and a half from here. Guest guest
Recently doctors have found that the presence of a substance called C-Reactive Protein in the blood indicates that blood vessels are inflamed. The body releases C-Reactive protein into the bloodstream when blood vessels leading to the heart are damaged. wrote: , Have the staff told your son you tried to get there but the police wouldn't let you through? Guest guest
Oh my, . I'm so sorry. It looks as even in Phoenix - when it rains it pours. Please try to keep yourself from getting run down with all this. It's important to take care of yourself. Take the time to get the rest you need. They will need you to be healthy when they come home. In the hospital, there are nurses who have a job to do. I know you need to be with them but just try hard to pamper a little also. The stress alone will make your symptoms worse. Of course - you and your family are in my prayers. Hugs!
