Guest guest
You've lost 14 pounds in less than a month??? You are doing great!!! Your body is probably just slowing down for a bit to adjust to the rapid weight loss. Keep to plan and you'll probably be rewarded with a woosh soon. You certainly won't gain all your weight back if your raise your carbs from 20 a day to 25 a day - Atkins advises raising carbs gradually, week by week to determine your CCL. If you want to stay at induction levels, that's fine too. Just make sure you are using most of your carbs on veggies! Kirstie

Guest guest
Welcome to the list, SHelly. You ask " what's a girl to do? " and my best advice is to be patient. You're not stalled. In less than a month you've lost nearly 15 pounds! That's terrific! Now just stick with legal foods, stay with the plan and you will lose again... just not every single day and typically not every single week. I mean, when you were gaining, you weren't gaining every day nor every week so it's only logical that you won't lose that way either. Your body is making lots of adjustments to your new way of eating. Have you taken measurements? You might not be losing pounds but you could be losing inches. Be patient :-) -Marlena in DC 214.5/165.2/150 > >Reply-To: Atkins_Support_List >To: Atkins_Support_List >Subject: New here, have a question... >Date: Tue, 10 Jul 2001 07:53:08 -0700 (PDT) > > >Hi everyone!! > >I have been lurking for a while and now I have a question:) It seems that >in a lot of the recipies you need the baking mix.
