Guest guest
I'm not a pro on this but elevated morning cortisol means he does not need HC in the am. But probably at 12 and 4pm as those times he is low. He does have a high cortisol burden, it seems like it's just not high at the right times. The morning high might be due to taking dhea and pregnenolone in the morning. Was he on it for the test? Again, others can chime in who know more... The thyroid doesn't look bad....but again....not a pro > > Hi Everybody, > > Here are hubby's results: > > Cortisol: > 8am 32 Elev. (13-24) > noon 4 Dep. (5-10) > 4pm 1 Dep. (3-8) > 12am 3 Norm. If estrogen is high he needs HC if it is not then he probabyl can get by wiht Licorice or Isocort. Was he on any meds at the time of the saliva test? Guest guest
Thanks for replies! Val, for test he was only on Levoxyl 50mcg & Testim (testosterone had shown VERY LOW months ago). He just had all sex hormones tested but gets the results tomorrow at dr. appt. He does snore but has had a sleep study that showed no apnea. Am hoping to have some sense of his needs before we see doc tomorrow. Thanks, Sharon wrote: >> Cortisol: >> 8am 32 Elev. (13-24) >> noon 4 Dep. (5-10) >> 4pm 1 Dep. (3-8) >> 12am 3 Norm. His thyroid is definitely LOW. And a t4 only med is nto going ot get it for him to make him feel well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
