Guest guest
Hi Val, I got these results recently but have been away for the past week. 8AM 19 (13-24) 12:00 5 (5-10) 5PM 5 (3-8) Midnight 4 (1-4) I have started HC slowly, I am taking 2.5 at 8AM, noon, 5PM. I am very concerned about taking the evening dose as I have problems staying asleep as it is. I pop up around 4-5AM. Also, I am having to monitor my BP very closely as it has been higher then normal for a while now. That may because of very high levels of estrogen & progesterone, I am working on getting those down. Comments? Thanks Gale

I will assume you were not. With these levels you might get by with just Isocort. If you have tried thta and it was not enough oyu would probably only need 20mG HC TOPS. As you raise the daytime levels it will lower your ACTh later in the day and thus lower your night time cortisol. This is why labs while ON med do not work because of the ACTH supression thta occurs at ANY dose. Also by bringing your daytime cortiosl levels up it WILL lower your estrogen however I am not sure about high oprogesterone. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Val, No, I have not been on any adrenal treatment. In fact, I always thought that I had HIGH cortisol by symptoms, wired but tired. I have HC here but no Isocort. I am going to stick with the HC unless my BP gets higher. Do you think that just taking it during the day will suffice? If oyu need 20MG or more you will most liekly need the bedtime dose as it will lower your night time cortiosl too much, bnut I would try it with just the daytime supplementing first. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
