Guest guest
Hi Nicola, 3mg of melatonin in this formula and the other one that I was taking when I had my other bad attack. I woke up the same way night before last but it wasn't as severe and I fell back to sleep, but had to get up to eat at 4AM. If I have been driving down my cortisol by taking this stuff, and bringing on these attacks, I feel pretty stupid, but I'm glad to have found the answer if this is it. I do better on Lunesta and Klonopin as sleep aids but was trying to avoid becoming dependent on them so I was supplementing with the herbals. > > My endo told me that melatonin drives down cortisol, so this may > explain your panicky awakenings.
