Guest guest
Dear Groupies, I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for recovering from a crash. I have been very crashed for the last two months (almost) and am still extremely weak, and tiring very easily. I had a discussion with my phsio about it, although she's not sure either. Should I try and push myselff (this doesnt seem to work) or just contunue resting and VERY gradually increase activities (can't always control this). Prior to the crash I was using a exercise bike for 5 minutes twice a week at the phsyio but now my legs are so weak I am using the power chair far more than I did. Should I try to walk more? Are there any rules or suggestions for this? Thanks, Celia
Guest guest
You might want to ask your doctor about increasing your CoQ10 dosage, at least for a while anyway. Other than that, rest, rest, rest and eat healthy foods. I hope you feel better soon! cghng888 wrote: >Dear Groupies, I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for recovering from a crash. Guest guest
Celia, I have also been in a crash since before Christmas. I know that the times that I can just sleep and rest, I do feel better. I have a full time job that I need to get to as much as I can so I can't seem to get over this crash. I keep getting sick, am having a hard time walking for any distance and am in pain. It sure does get old after a while, doesn't it. I know its hard to find time to get a long period of rest in but that is what I think would help you. Better said than done though. Take care and try to rest. > Dear Groupies, I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for recovering from a crash. Guest guest
-, Thanks for the advice. I don't see how I could manage to workin regular time let alone while in a crash. That must be sooo hard for you to do. Right now I'm pleased if I manage to tidy the kitchen!! Don't YOU work too hard.
