Guest guest
Hi Val (thank you a lot for your help), I paste below some post (to remenber information) about me. You suggested me to lower Armour with the current dose of Hc (22,5 mg) to stabileze my temps. I have to say the last 2 weeks are being very hard (poor sleep, bad mood, no energy...) and I wonder If is possible to be a reaction from my Hc reduce (from 32,5mg to 22, 5 in a mount an a half). Another thing I can understand is why my temps are going down as I reduce Hc (with the same amount of Armour-3 1/2grains-). I am worried to reduce armour as i´m doing quite bad the last 2 weeks, but seeing my temps, Is possible I have too much armour not getting intocells due to not enough cortisol? How would you dose armour? and what can I expect to feel with this new dosages? Fran. GENERAL INFORMATION (OLD POST) The second question is about my unstables temps in spite of taking HC. I took up to 32mg( 10/10/7,5/5). I begun taking Hc 7 mounth ago, incresing the amount till 20mg (I didn´t want to pass this amount) but in the last two mounths I incresed up to 32mg due to a very import exam (A LOT OF STRESS) I have made the 6 of october. Then I began to reduce and now I am taking 25 (10/7,5/7,5) and I want to go down to 20 mg maximun becouse I don´t want to hurt my adrenals. Overall, I have improved a litle my energy, mood, relax, but I don´t undersant why my temps never got stable (I have recorded all my temps in Dr ring´s table). I know an unestable temps means too little Hc, but I was 6 mounths rising it and I never have had a stable temps and keep the Hc raise scare me. If anyone want to have a look to my excel files I would be glad to send it by email. My result are: Saliva test 1 (06/02/2006) Testosterone 75.7 pg/ml (26-145) DHEA 269 (37-336) Cortisol (7:30 a.m.) 3.28 (1-8) Saliva Test 2 (11/4/2006) cortisol (4x-morning/noon/afternoo/night) 2.9 (7-10) 0.6 (3-6) 1.1 (2-4) 0,8 <1.5 Saliva and spot blood test 3 (2/7/2007) Estradiol 1.4 (0.8-2.2) Progesterone 72 (15-100) Testosterone 460 (44-148) DHEAS 24.2 (2-23) Cortisol mornig 6.9 (3.7-9.5) noon 2.3 (1.2-3) evening 0.4 (0.6-1.9) night 0.6 (0.4-1) FT4 1.3 (0.7-2.5) FT3 2.7 (2.5-6.5) TSH 2.1 (0.5-3) TPO 22 (0-150) I have another regular blood test and all is always between the range. There must be a mistake in test 3 with the testosterone and it have no sense the cortisol results in diferents tests.
Guest guest
Fran with those saliva test results I would be very surprised if it wa not from low cortiosl that you are feeling tired. I feel you will need 25-30mg HC daily to get stabilized. I would work thew HC dose slowly back up and graph temps as you do so and jst hold the thyroid where it is. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Val, I need you clarify your new and the ones posted 2 days ago. Now you are saying I would need to increse Hc, but a few days ago I understood the opposite (and I want to redue to be not more than 20 mgs). Didn´t understand well the post below? YOUR POST (2 DAYS AGO) Looks liek your AM cortisol is low in every test as between 7-8 AM (when you usually wake) it should be at the top of the range. Though your T4 is only a little low your T3 is in the dirt. Are you on thyroid meds? How about magnesium? Iwould try 400-500mg magnesium at bedtime as this may also help. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV About temps not stabilizing. How long have you held the dosages? How did you increase to 3.5 grains Armour wiht unstable temps? Have you had other symptoms while doing this? Your cortiosl labs do not show NEAR bad enough to need over 30MG HC Thoguh some folkd do need that much with not too bad labs it is unlikely. Have you ever had Aldosterone tested? Are you taking sea salt to aid your adrenal function? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > Fran with those saliva test results I would be very surprised if it wa > not from low cortiosl that you are feeling tired.
