Guest guest
>>The FOURTH dose is the bedtime dose. Not 4 hours later. There is a period in the evenings when you really need LOW cortisol to prepare your body for sleep and thus you shoiuld not need exogenous cortisol then. >> Hi Val, I go to sleep quite early, usually between 8 and 8:30 pm. How does what you say above apply in my case? I find if I take a bedtime dose at my bedtime, it's very hard to fall asleep. If I skip a bedtime dose altogether, I do not feel well in the morning. Lately, I've been splitting the 5 mg bedtime dose like this: 2.5 at 6pm and 2.5 when I wake up in the middle of the night, usually around midnight or 1 a.m. On occasion (like now), I will get the shakes/rapid pulse about an hour after I take that 2.5 at 6pm, not relieved by salt water or eating. Should I just wait until I wake up in the middle of the night and take 2.5 or 5 mg then, and skip the 6 pm dosing entirely? thanks, Dahlia
