Guest guest
I always thought there was something other than just meat (other fillers maybe) in there because the texture and the flavor is so different than the hamburger meat from the supermarket. I personally cant eat at taco bell because of the texture of the meat but then again it could just be all in my head.

Guest guest
It is real beef, but it is heavily seasoned. There are plenty of carbs from the seasoning in their meats. According to their website, one taco has 12 grams of carbohydrates. I guess it wouldn't be terrible to eat just the innards, however, if it were me, it wouldn't be worth it because I would need the innards of about 10 of those tacos to be full. At that point, I'd be better off eating from somewhere else. Guest guest
I have eaten the taco salad w/o beans, with no problem. I count the carbs as ~5g between the lettuce, tomatoes, seasoning, etc. The 12g on a taco are mostly from the shell, not the contents. Guest guest
That was 1/4 cup per lb, which is ~22g carbs per lb, about 4-5g per 1/4 lb meat. I doubt they are giving you much more than that on a salad, and even less on a taco. That puts the count higher than I guessed, but it would still be <10g for the salad. As I said, I have eaten these with no problem. HJ ----- Original Message ----- If they use a cup of flour per lb of meat I would think there is more than 5g per serving
