Hi all,

Today was a volunteer day doing cameras at the cable TV station. We were taping

some yoga classes and it was very cool and yoga wasn't what I thought.....

Well, I knew it was body movements and stretching but thought it was more

physical movement than in these classes. Now, I'm interested in a beginner

class.

Has anyone done yoga? We taped a beginner's show and although I could see there

were some things where balance would be an issue and some things I knew I

couldn't manipulate to do, there seemed to be enough that I could do and would

probably be a good stretching routine for me. We also taped a class specific to

yoga focused on the hips/legs and that looked good.

So I checked out her website when I got home. I'm thinking about signing up for

a beginner class. It's an 8-week session and is $88.

The company also has massage therapists and I read about the craniosacral

massage. Just the thought of that sounded delicious. I don't expect any cures,

LOL, but it seemed like it would feel great and be very relaxing. Maybe for a

treat...... I have had massages before but not for a long time.

So now my mind is clicking.... maybe we should create a Yoga tape for people

with movement disorders. LOL, maybe it's yoga using a balance bar. Well, it

probably already is out there through some related organization like MS or CP or

MDA. I guess I should check. When today's show is shown on tv, I'm going to

tape it.

best,

Kathi
